Chapter Three

Spirit's Shine
Chapter Three
School in the Clouds?!

Todd woke up with is eyes blurry. A large white light shone above him. "No infections. We found you out cold in the past. Only ghosts can go there silly!" Todd's vision slowly came back to. there stood... The most beautiful cat he had ever seen. "My name is Alice. You are?" The beautiful cat -named Alice- asked. She had light purple fur and spots on her fur. The looked sincere and happy, like she knew the world would never end. Complete confidence in herself. The more Todd stared, he noticed a small halo over her head and beautiful angel wings. "Todd."  Todd mumbled. "I'm Todd." He looked and saw an even PRETTIER cat. "My name is Kay Kay!" She said. "I'm Todd..." She stumbled over his words. Though he could only see a jumble of purple and blue, he could make out a halo and beautiful wings. "We are so stupid!" Kay Kay a mysterious voice. A blue hand appeared over Todd's face and then, he could see. "Don't use magic! That's unfair!" Alice snapped. "It's against out assignment and law! We can't use magic on patients because it's unfair to people without magic!" Alice continued. she seemed like a complete know-it-all. "Whatever.." Kay Kay said, popping a Fishy fish treat into her mouth. She looked at Todd. She took his paw when no one was looking put two Fishy Fish treats in his paw, put her paw over her lips, and closed his claws. She laughed and turned away. "Are you liking the atmosphere of the new hospital?"   Asked a voice that sounded deep and troublesome. At the foot of his bed, a strange creature appeared at the end of his bed. She was pretty too! Was was Todd surrounded by pretty cats?! He sank into his bed and tried to forget about everything that was happening.

Spirit's Shine
   Chapter two

Solemn Wings From Who it May Concern Part two
   Ice, Ice, Baby!

For a mire second or so, it sounded as if a million bombs where dropping and exploding while she was unconscious. When she woke up it was irritably cold, all ice and wastelands of completely nothing. It was a void someone never wanted to see again. And no, this tiny kitten is not Todd. And no, she's a heck of a lot more than tiny. Symphony had never liked the feeling of being in the ice cold glory of herself. She's always been abused, hated, and disliked.

Symphony was a kitten, a creamy color like cake. She was trapped in herself. Why did this blessing come across her? The watched as the coldness turned red, and she winced as the pain hit her again. She tried, she ran to the far ends, thinking there was an escape. "Let me out! Please!" She said. She was surprised. She came to, and she blinked. I've woken you up at the right time... Eclipse whispered to Symphony. Eclipse was her nymph. She blessed her, but it wasn't to fun. She looked up, horrified to see Todd watching into the distance. Symphony turned. "Todd. What's happening?" She murmured, looking. "Symphony!" Staccato cried. Symphony turned. "Staccato!" She was a ghost! "We're in the past. You know what happened, don't you. But you haven't seen around you. Watch!" Staccato blabbered. She moved Symphony's head in another direction. Symphony looked. She saw herself leading Staccato into their fort. Then she saw a large, red light. And tiny splotches of blood raced down the windows and cracks, and slowly the fort caught on fire, burning into a million embers. "No! No! What? No!" Cried Symphony. She noticed what she did. "No!" She cried. "What are you saying?!!?" Todd yowled, lunging to Symphony. "No! Stop!" screamed Staccato. "Don't kill her!" But it was too late. He scratched her and she flew across the room. She hit the fall and fell. "I never knew... the past.. has walls..." Symphony croaked.

Todd looked at Symphony's body. "I wonder what happened to her.... Well, I got her done. Isn't that what you wanted? I bet so." Todd said. Staccato was on her knees, weeping. "You made it worse. Why did you do it!" Staccato yelped. Everyone turned slowly. Symphony stood still. "No one cares. No one listens." She mumbled.  She looked up, her eyes one red one blue. "You can understand." She said pointing at Todd. "MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND!" She said. Staccato winced. She looked at Todd. "These solemn wings... are for whom it may concern." And Todd felt searing pain in his back, and her was suddenly on the ground, fainted. The pain was so unbearable! Symphony's imagine flicked around, like a TV with bad connection. She couldn't die!! Todd's breathing slowed... And then he was fully asleep. Forever?

Chapter Two - Part one

    Spirit's Shine
   Chapter two
Solemn Wings From Who it May Concern Part one
   Never Fail

Oh Todd. Oh Todd. Oh Todd. Oh... Todd..

Symphony looked up into Todd's eyes, and scratched deep into his arm. "I know what your going to do. Your going to try an FIX me. Aren't you TODD?" She scolded him. "Yeah! You where UUPEST." Todd said, calmer than he thought he'd be with someone digging ultra-huge claws into your arm. A trickle of blood fell, but less than he expected. He felt something overwhelming and otherworldly coming off of Symphony, something Todd wished he was never encountering. He wanted to fight her off, but she was a girl. He found himself kicking her off with his hind legs. "Use your manners BOY.' Symphony snarled. Something came out from behind him, catching him off guard. It was Staccato. "What-" Todd began. Staccato  looked ravished and bristly, but she knew more about Symphony then Todd did. "Let me paint you a picture......" She said, her voice trailing off into another dimension. She took his hand, and then he felt like he was somewhere else, as if time where he just was had stopped, and all that was happening was happening. She was floating, and she was transparent. "Staccato! Your a ghost!" He yelped. Staccato flinched. "Don't remind me." She floated through this world, now it was becoming clear it was the house I was just at. "Uhm... This is where I show you the future. And it'll be your job to fix the past." Todd silently watched this "future". It was him and Staccato, walking back in. Symphony attacked future Todd, and the rest was gruesome. "I've showed you what there is. And now, I'll help you if you help me from a never-ending pit of crap" She said stubbornly. "Fine..." Todd said. Staccato brought him into the past, and  showed him it. It was Staccato coming home, to see a crazy and sobbing Symphony on her bed. She jumped off and attacked her. It was gruesome. Then Todd saw wings coming from Symphony- but then Staccato shouted from behind him in present past time "QUICK! HELP! SYMPHONY IS COMING IN THE PAST!" She yelped. She flew across the past, and Symphony burst out.

Chapter One

 Spirit's Shine
 Chapter One
 Testing Dubstep's Levels

Todd let Song comb through his fur and observe his new marking. "Uh... It's naturally in." Song said. In the other room he could hear dubstep music flooding through the door. Shrillex and Deadmou5 probably. It usually came from Plair, Songs middle son. She had a lot of children. Symphony and Staccato where probably his favorite, but Staccato was a bit to boring. She always read the soothing books and was not into getting dirty. She was at least quiet. Symphony though was fun loving, and soothing and had wonderful music. He hadn't seen her all day! Todd listened to the dubstep. Defiantly not Plair playing it on his turn table! Probably a CD.. " Miss Song..? Could I please go find Symphony?" Todd asked Song. "Why sure! I saw her come home, but she went straight to her room and I couldn't see her. She was crying all night.. You should check up on her. Also, go get Turar for me will you?" Turar is Song's husband. He and Symphony where the only ones in the family with American accents. Song and the rest had rich and beautiful Australian accents. "Oh.. sure!" Todd said. He flew off through the long hallways. He reached a hotter area, where Dawn and Fartillia did their music. They where more interested in hard rock, and when the weren't doing music, they would be working out and dancing. It was beginning to get gross, because they where training in the hallway. Todd slunk past them and into the kitchen. "Turar?" Todd asked as he entered the kitchen. Turar was standing there, guilty as ever eating a Klondike ice-cream bar. "Wphat?"he asked, mouth full of Klondike. "Song needs you..." Todd said. "Aren't you on a diet?" Turar put his finger to his lip as to shush him and threw the Klondike into the trash.

Todd stepped into the bland and quiet or was - quiet hallway. Symphony was singing a sad dubstep song with Plair, well, Plair had to be playing the dubstep... right? He stepped in the room. "Symphony?" Todd asked. "I'm so.. scared...." Symphony sang beautifully. If anyone in the whole family had the most impressive talents, it was Symphony. She was playing dubstep, better than Plaid! Todd stood in the doorway with wide eyes. Smphony was playing while crying, and a blue crescent moon was on her too! "I'm so scared... I'm so scared... I can't sleep... I can't sleep... I'm so scared... Of these monsters, that lay and lurk underneath my bed." She continued signing. "I can't sleep, or close my eyes..." She continued. Head in her paws, she began sobbing and the dubstep stopped. Something was wrong. Todd had to fix it.

Prolog

   Firework Finale
   Prolog
   Spirit's Shine

Todd's long brown fur was slowing swaying in the breeze, the cool saltwater air of New England hitting him in the face. Finally! The Celebration! In Yarmouth Port in Cape Cod Massachusetts, they will host a huge gathering of the quite loud humans to celebrate "The Coming of the New Year"; whatever that odd gathering is.
Mamma always told me and my sisters and brother Persilla, Clementine, Sonny, Calli, and Tawny all about the celebration of mysterious lights. "They are the spirits that give magic, and the thunder is heard because they will promise rain for crops.. and the explosion, it's raining their blessings upon every soul.. even the humans. Only because they supply us with food.. and care." Todd shuddered. There was the loud, bone crippling shrill BOOM in his ears, even though he was miles away from the spirit's blessings. He had to receive them! It only comes once a year! He ran through alleys and leaped over dust bins and empty potato chip bags. He was finally there! The humans where screaming and shouting, their loud voices trying to overcome the sprits thunder. He ran as close as he could, and then practically felt the blessings rain upon his fur.
                                                                 *******

In the morning, the jays and the cardinals where coming out, and Todd felt a soft noise in his ear. "Hello..." It whispered. "The blessings have came... Hello.." Todd's eyes flew open. "What the-" He slapped the air the noise was coming from. He shrugged and casually walked up the alleys. He looked at himself through a shard of a missing mirror, and saw his amber eyes had turned bright and startling green, and a vibrant green sun was on his forehead. That was just a part of his powerful blessing. Is it from the gods.. or the spirits... or maybe Persilla found a can of spray paint and wanted a laugh? He didn't know, it wasn't any of those.

:DDD I hope you like it! I worked hard on it! thanks anyway! Singing off!
